As Gloria Whiplash, in "DQ '05: Dames". I made this and my other costumes for the show.

Mama Morton

In my "Mama Morton" gown, ready to perform "When You're Good to Mama" and "Le Jazz Hot". I made the costume.

As "Thistle Hirt", the sitcom dominatrix, in the indie feature "Most Guys Today". I made the costume.

In the indie short "Jesus for Prom King", I played a sweet, suburban housewife of the 1950s......whose costume looks suspiciously like the one worn by the Mom character on "You Can't Do That On Television". I made this costume too. My part had no lines, just magnificent opportunities for big reactions to every parent's worst nightmares. I even got to do a spit-take!

in Gilbert & Sullivan's "Trial by Jury"

When we were kids, my brother and I took Ukrainian dancing lessons. Each year, my mom promised that if I'd just take the lessons for one more year, she'd get me a pair of real red boots. Despite 10 years of lessons, I never did get those boots!
